Shah Karim is an expert on big data and omni-channel retail, and CEO of SafeRock a retail analytics and strategy company that improves shareholder value and return on investment.
Shah is a leading researcher and speaker on retail megatrends, convergence of retail stores and ecommerce, mobile and digital solutions, U.S. retail sales, education technology and customer engagement.
Shah has authored and co-authored research published in CITI Research, Retail & Leisure, Retail Solutions Online, Chain Store Age, Apparel News, Handelsblatt, and Shopping Center Business. He delivered keynotes at InCommerce 2016 in Berlin, 9th CIO Summit at IGDS, SXSW 2016 German Haus, and is recognized as a top 100 retail industry influencer by Retail Digest.
Since 2013, he has served on the board of governors for UNT’s merchandising and digital retailing program and the Think Tank for the program’s research center. Most recently, Shah was invited to Penn State’s Industry Advisory Board for Enterprise Systems, and is an Advisory Board Member of NJIT School of Management. He is a Fellow of the Tribeca Disruptor Foundation, a community of accomplished and promising innovators dedicated to propelling their respective fields further.
Shah received his B.A., M.A., and M.Phil. from Yale University.
